It was great to participate in the MRS Spring panel on “Materials Needs for Energy Sustainability by 2050: AI-assisted Materials Development for a Sustainable Future.”

I joined Karin Strauss (Microsoft), Jed Pitera (IBM), and Shijing Sun (UW) for a lively discussion on the usage of AI/ML in materials discovery. We look forward to preparing a follow-up article on our discussions soon!
