 About Me

I'm a materials scientist focused on understanding the structure, properties, and behavior of nanoscale materials systems for energy, electronics, and quantum computing. My research aims to develop new ways to design, synthesize, characterize, and model these systems, with a particular focus on the development of advanced electron microscopy tools. I am committed to delivering transformative science and solutions to collaborators in academia, government, and industry. My work has received awards from the National Science Foundation, the Materials Research Society, the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, the Microscopy Society of America, and the American Physical Society, among others. I am a passionate scientific communicator, with a strong interest in educating the next generation of leaders and innovators.
