AM³ Meets Gemini: Advancing Autonomous Materials Discovery with Google

Our collaboration with Google marks a significant step in bringing frontier AI capabilities to bear on materials research. As detailed in Google's recent post, our Autonomous Multi-Modal Characterization and Processing (AM³) platform now integrates Gemini to drive fully autonomous materials workflows — spanning experimental design, characterization, and reasoning — without human intervention at each step.

This work is philosophically aligned with Google's Genesis initiative, which envisions AI systems that can reason over and direct complex scientific workflows in real time, and we're proud to see AM³ demonstrate what that vision looks like in practice for materials science. We're excited to continue building on this collaboration with Google in the months ahead!
