Speaking at AREMS AI Microscopy Meeting

I'm looking forward to speaking at the upcoming AI Microscopy Meeting, organized by Sergei Kalinin, a pioneer in the field, and held by the Advancing Research in Electron Microscopy Society (AREMS). This meeting represents a unique opportunity to connect with fellow researchers and share my latest work on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to accelerate materials discovery and design through advanced microscopy techniques.

My presentation will focus on how AI-driven workflows are enabling us to push the boundaries of materials science, from the design of novel compounds to the characterization of their behavior under extreme conditions.

As a materials data scientist at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), my research is centered on AI-guided materials design, autonomous electron microscopy, and the development of software tools to analyze complex materials data. I am particularly interested in applying these techniques to address critical challenges in energy, quantum information science, and microelectronics.

I'm eager to share insights from my work at NREL. My work there involves developing energy-efficient power electronics and understanding thin-film interfaces for energy storage and conversion.

The AI Microscopy Meeting promises to be a dynamic event, featuring discussions on the latest advancements in machine learning for microscopy, automated experimentation, and data-driven materials science. I look forward to engaging with the community and exploring potential collaborations to further accelerate the pace of materials innovation.
